Our attempt to leave...

On Friday night we started of on our most interesting adventure to the Jack Johnson concert. We left at about five o'clock.

Here we were all packed up and ready to go.
We went over the Beautiful river that separates Vancouver and Portland.

We had been driving for about an hour when all of the sudden, the car started swaying like crazy. We poled over on the fifth exits past Multnomah Falls to find out that we had....
a flat tire.
We Had no spar tire. Mr Call met with Mr Vonderluft to get a tire, and then brought it to us.

Here is a picture of our hero. :D It was dark.
We didn't get home until 11:45. :P

Yesterday, Jonah was making Top-a-romen when he spilt it and burnt his hand. It looked fine yesterday, but when he showed it to us this morning it was a bit of a different story.

Here are some pictures,
Brace yourself.

Ya it was bad. :P ~Michaela~

World map cake

On Wednesdays Pattie and Carlie Gowing come over to do school. Two Wednesdays ago, when they came over, Pattie brought an unfrosted vanilla cake. This is what we did with it.

First we made the frosting.

Then we got started.
They drew the outline,
and then filled it in
All done...
Every one who helped.
This is the master mind of the project.
It's time to dig in. :)
Oh, the joy kids have in cake.
Great job kids ~Michaela~
